Spring Equinox

A new cycle for how to live and work with the seasons?

Before I dive into the exciting news I’m about to share, I want to take it back to the end of last year.

As long as I can remember, I have always felt a sense of excitement when the new year rolls around. That familiar “fresh start, new possibilities” feeling has always found its way to me, even after years that haven’t been particularly great. But this time around, at the end of 2025, it never showed up. New Year's didn’t feel like an end or a beginning. That spark that usually hits just wasn’t there. Not in a bad way, I just felt different. And I think many of us, collectively, felt the same way. When the New Year comes in the midst of the darkest and coldest time of year (depending on where you live), the body still longs for rest.

When I look at nature – and at the female cycle – we move in seasons. There is a natural rhythm and flow to everything. So I decided, again, to listen inwards. Not to force the feeling, but to let it come when it was ready. This doesn’t mean I don’t have ideas to explore or deadlines to meet. But what I don’t need to do is to rush back into life before I am ready.

One of the perks of being in control of my own creative world is that I get to do things MY way. So I let my to-do list (also known as a ta-da list – whoever came up with that is a genius) be, and I simply pressed pause on everything.

When I do that – and I know many of you can relate – what needs to come to the surface will eventually show up. My best ideas and sparks of joy often appear during the most mundane moments. So at random times, I found myself receiving ideas and solutions to problems I didn’t even know I had yet.

Conscious that my mind and body are working a little differently since my burnout less than two years ago, I’ve had to find new ways of doing things. And believe me, this has not been easy to accept or adapt to. But here I am, finally ready to share the exciting news: As the spring equinox arrives, I have officially decided to follow the seasons in both life and work. On March 20th, the first news of my spring/summer season will be released, one beautiful idea at a time. I’ll be bringing you along every step of the way: from what inspires me, to the materials I’m drawn to this season, all the way to the finished works you get to be a part of and create yourself.

I am so excited about this new way of living. I’ve always felt most alive when spending time in nature, so why wouldn’t I live more in tune with its natural flow?

I can’t wait to share it all with you. The magic is coming!
